A meditation on the silence between movements, where memory solidifies into form and the soul finds its rhythm in the charcoal's raw grain.
My path has never been a linear progression, but a series of recursive cycles, of internal collapse and eventual reconstruction. Through 'The Hand of Setonji', I explore the invisible resistance that defines our existence, seeking to capture the weight of unseen histories in every sculptural line and curated shadow.
Each mark is a testament to endurance, a prayer carved in light and charcoal. I do not seek to purely depict the world as it appears, but to feel its history in my fingertips, translating philosophical intimacy into a physical, enduring legacy that refuses to shout.
